Community Bank Canning Vale

Community Bank Canning Vale

Gosnells Financial Services Limited (GFSL) is the franchisee of Community Bank Canning Vale. GFSL is a social enterprise run by the community, for the community, and aims to provide funding and sponsorships for community-based groups and initiatives.

Our Story & History

Community Bank Gosnells opened on Albany Highway in 2002 due to bank’s leaving the area. A committee of local’s rallied to bring Bendigo Bank to the area and raised capital by taking pledges for the Community Bank.

We then relocated to Canning Vale in 2018 where we now reside in the Vale shopping Centre.

Over the past 23 years, we are proud that our Community Company has provided over $600k back to local community organisations and groups.

Our point of difference

You may not think who you bank with matters. But it does. For our customers, their banking is making a real difference.

Every day our customers help change lives, and save lives, simply by banking with us. Home loans are building skate parks, preschools, ambulance stations and playgrounds. Personal loans, business banking and credit cards are funding local events, sporting groups and disabled and aged care facilities.

Everyday banking with Community Bank Canning Vale is providing all this and more.

The role we play is to feed into prosperity, not off it.

Community Bank Canning Vale is committed to developing partnerships that assist in achieving positive community outcomes.

Gosnells Financial Services Limited is driven by our overarching strategy to invest in the growth of a resilient, sustainable, and thriving community within the City of Gosnells.

Community Investment Funding

Sponsorships

Sponsorships are provided to community organisations rather than specific projects. Sponsorship supports a local club or activity and is entered in to on the understanding that the gesture will be reciprocal through a Return on Investment (i.e. the organisation supports the Community Bank with their business and that the sponsorship is appropriately acknowledged and publicised).

GFSL offers different levels of sponsorship. Each level of sponsorship incurs specific conditions that you are asked to adhere to as part of the Sponsorship agreement. You will also be asked to acquit the sponsorship and demonstrate how you have adhered to the conditions.

To apply for sponsorship, the organisation must have a Community Bank Canning Vale account or willingness to transition banking. Funds will not be paid into any other accounts.

Donations

Donations are provided to community organisations up to the value of $1000.00 (inc GST). Request for funds above this amount, is classed as a sponsorship and will require the appropriate application.
